It’s hard to find the right words to say—but to see the overwhelming outpouring of love and generosity on the gofundme site, I’m overwhelmed to say the least. Friends past and present. Family. Former students. Current students. Colleagues. Compassionate strangers. My God. I’m speechless. I’m truly speechless. If any real good comes from any of this, it will be because of all of you. It may sound cliché, but you’ve truly restored my faith in humanity. You are all my family, and you’ve filled me with love and hope.
